apoyo del Baritono Carlos Almaguer

  Gracias a personas como esta nos sentimos mas reconocidos por nuestra labor.
 Carlos Almaguer was born in Mexico City, where he studied with Francesco Amador and sung in the School Chorus and in the Monteverdi Madrigal.
He obtained many prizes that brought him to famous master classes. He received a scholarship that allows him to continue his studies with Carlo Bergonzi, at the Sienna Academy in Italy and with Vicente Sardinero in Madrid.
As winner of the Singing Competition in Verviers, 1997, the artist has been engaged for the role of Amonasro / “Aida” in Cologne (1999) and at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie (2000).
1999 Carlos Almaguer made his debut at the Frankfurt Opera as Alfio in the new production of “Cavalleria rusticana”, directed by G. del Monaco and conducted by P. Carignani.
Since 2000 Carlos Almaguer appears in the most important Verdi-parts: ‘Nabucco’, ‘Rigoletto’, ‘Don Carlo’ / “La forza del destino’, ‘De Luna’, ‘Renato’, ‘Amonasro’, ‘Simon Boccanegra’, ‘Jago’, ‘Ezio’, ‘Macbeth’, ‘Renato’ / “Un ballo in maschera” in Spain (Barcelona, Madrid, Cordoba, Jerez, Sabadell, Las Palmas), Italy (Arena di Verona – “Cavalleria rusticana” – 2006, Palermo – “Aida” – 2008), Bologna, Torino, Trieste, Trapani Festival), France (Marseille, Toulouse, Nice, Avignon, Strasbourg, Toulon, Angers, Nantes, Limoges), Germany (Köln, Leipzig, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Deutsche Oper Berlin), Monte Carlo, Swiss (Avenches Festival), Belgium (Liège, Brussels) Greece (Athens), Australia (Melbourne)...
He includes in his repertoire with Verismo-roles, that suite very well to his dramatic voice: ‘Scarpia’ (Toulon, Limoges, Montpellier, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Mexico), ‘Michele’ / “Il tabarro” (Mexico), ‘Carlo Gérard’ (Torino), ‘Jack Rance’ (Melbourne), ‘Alfio’ (Monte Carlo)...
Among his future engagements should be mentioned: “Un ballo in maschera” (Hamburgische Staatsoper), “Aida” (Hamburgische Staatsoper), “Il Trovatore” (Opéra de Nice), “Cavalleria rusticana” (Opéra de Marseille), “Tosca” (Wiener Staatsoper, Hamburgische, Staatsoper, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Budapest State Opera), “Cavalleria rusticana / Pagliacci” (Teatro Massimo Palermo, Savonlinna Festival), “Rigoletto” (ORW Liège), “Macbeth” (Teatro Villamarta Jerez), “Aida” (R.O.H. Covent Garden London).
